    What makes a wheel fair

    The winner is drawn before the animation starts, using your browser's cryptographic random number generator, weighted by slice size. The spin is then calculated to land on that result — so what you watch and what's announced can never disagree. Weighted entries change the odds exactly in proportion to their slice.

    When a wheel beats a list

    A random pick from a script is instant but invisible; nobody watching can tell whether it was fair. A wheel is slower on purpose. Everyone sees the same entries, the same spin, and the same landing — which is why wheels are the tool of choice for classrooms, live giveaways, and any decision that has to be seen to be impartial.

    Where are my entries stored?

    In your browser only. Saving a wheel writes to this device's local storage; sharing a wheel encodes it into the link itself. There is no server holding your list.

    Can I use it on a phone?

    Yes. The layout is mobile-first, the wheel scales to the screen, and fullscreen mode works on phones and tablets.

    How many entries can it handle?

    Several hundred spin smoothly. Above about 60 the labels get small, so the winner is announced in large type above the wheel.
