Reading Partner Picker

Letting students choose reading partners is how the same pairs form every time and someone is always left over. Spin instead: draw two names for each pair and "remove winner" keeps the list shrinking, so everyone is matched and nobody is picked last. For splitting the whole class into groups at once, the group generator is faster.

What if I have an odd number of students?

The last spin leaves one name — make that student a trio with the previous pair, or read with them yourself. The wheel tells you exactly who's left over.

How do I keep two students apart?

The wheel pairs at random, so it can't enforce a rule. Draw the pairs, then swap one name by hand if a match won't work — or use the group generator and rearrange from there.

Can I reuse the same pairs next time?

Export the wheel to a file after you set the roster, and re-import it whenever you want the same starting list. Each spin still pairs fresh.
